We innovate, we create, manufacture and assemble designs that come to life with a range of cross-functional project teams who collaborate to design a specific system and develop it end-to-end.
We are seeking a Workshop & Service Manager with electrical and manufacturing experience to lead and support our workshop team in Cardiff, NSW.
Our workshop and service team are key contributors to our team and are responsible for the workshop manufacturing and commission of our products for our customers and we are looking for a Workshop & Service Manager with 5+ experience to join our team.
You will be responsible for safety and quality within the workshop, and you will demonstrate and role model safety leadership behaviours and engagement employees around workplace, health, safety, and environmental issues. This includes ensuring the established work practices are implemented including SWMS, identify and conduct risk assessments, procedures, and policies are followed.
Safety and quality experience is essential within this position therefore exposure with the following:
ISO:9001, WH&S to ISO 45001:2018 and AS/NZS OHS 4801:2001, AS/NZS 3000 (Electrical Install ANZ Wiring Rules) and AS/NZS 4871 (Electrical equipment for mines and quarries general requirements)
You will be accountable to manage and co-ordinate workshop to ensure work is completed to required standard, on-time, within budget and without injuries or incidents.
Making sure that your departments documentation requirements are correctly completed and delivered on time.
Your contribution to the projects to plan and schedule, to monitor and control budget, to maintain the project manufacturing schedule, coordinating, and reporting on the manufacturing schedule is critical to the team to plan and execute on our projects.
Collaborate with internal functionally teams to ensure the Manufacturing Schedule is achievable and execute the work tasks in accordance with the Manufacturing Schedule.
You will be responsible for recruitment, development and managing performance within our workshop team and empowering collaboration between the functions towards achieving objectives successfully together as a team.
You will have the following formal qualifications and licences:
- Qualified Trade background as Electrical (or Mechanical would be considered).
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Certifications in quality management systems an advantage.
- Certificate III in Engineering, Leadership & Management and Workplace & Health & Safety and advantage.
- Desirable qualifications in Project Management.
- Must be an Australian Citizen to apply.
